Since 1657

Even in the 17th century every traveller was gladly welcome in the so called "Faschl". The Brandwirt is layn at the foot of the Paß Gschütt and played a loom large as horse-station for all travellers between Salzburg and Upper Austria.

Now the Brandwirt is a traditional restaurant and hotel, in which we will coddle you with our legendary "Schweinsbraten mit Semmelknödel, Saft und Krautsalat".

You can also visit Bad Ischl, Hallstatt or Salzburg - Gosau is not far away of these sightseeing places...
